Even though it is August, I feel like I am stuck in a loop and it is still March. This, obviously due to the global shutdown we have all experienced, has swallowed half of the year; and the weather would prove me otherwise, as it has been extremely warm, and it is indeed summer. The world is experiencing ups and downs in its awakening, and businesses that paused due to the pandemic, and survived the crisis, are beginning to open and thrive. The thought that some smaller businesses survived, and are bouncing back gives my heart the only cure I know that leads me to hope, Love. I feel like singing, and the Cure popped into my head, “It’s Friday, I’m in love.” I love that I can cheer on the businesses that are surging and providing services and goods to a world that has been waiting for the “wonderful surprise” where “spirits rise,” where it’s just so good you “can never get enough,” it’s Friday, I’m in love. It’s the kind of day and mood that makes me want to stop in to visit our friends at Living.ky and purchase some new outdoor furniture to enjoy the beauty of the day in this life that we are so privileged to live. Living.Ky is thriving in this comeback, and I love that I can chair them on.
